Meet the Board of Directors

Stephanie Cartozian

Executive Director

Stephanie grew up in Palos Verdes having attended both Chadwick School and then later transferring to Rolling Hills for high school. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara in 1989 with a Bachelors Degree in Economics with an emphasis in Finance. Upon graduation she moved to San Francisco and started an 8 year career in Banking where she worked in several different capacities including Manager of Union Bank’s commercial downtown office and Vice President of City National Bank’s Miracle Mile office.

Following her move back to Los Angeles, she founded and grew Health Odyssey Inc., an alcoholic beverage company, to be a significant brand in 3 states including California, Nevada and Arizona and sold the brand through various distributors to major strip casinos and chain supermarkets such as Trader Joes and Circle K’s. The brand was eventually purchased by a larger company and Stephanie later co-founded Holtorf Medical Group, Inc. a medical corporation located in Torrance that specializes in the treatment of endocrine deficiencies and multi-system illnesses. Over the course of 10 years she successfully grew the business to an annual revenue size of $10 million and 2 years ago began franchising the business and its systems to other medical doctors.

Over the course of the last 10 years she has also spent significant time purchasing, renovating and restoring older commercial properties to preserve their true architectural character; some of these properties are close to 100 years old and are located in the San Pedro and Redondo Beach areas. Stephanie believes that part of the charm of the South Bay lies in its colorful past and its even brighter future ahead.

Stephanie is an active member in the Elks Club in Redondo Beach assisting our veterans of war and she is a member and active advocate of the Banning Museum. In her spare time, she loves hiking local trails and taking her dog Sparky out on beach walks
